Weekly Parasha Sheets
A LABOUR OF LOVE
For 25 years from 1994 to 2019, Dayan Abraham David personally spent many hours each week, putting together the Weekly Parasha Sheets for the Od Yosef Hai Community. These were produced, printed and copied and placed around the main synagogue to be enjoyed by the congregants. Fron 2008 until 2018, these Parasha Sheets were e-mailed every week to all Od Yosef Hai E-Mail Subscribers.
Each Parasha Sheet consisted of Dayan David’s thoughts on the Parasha of the Week together with some beautiful insights into the Torah. Stories of Tzaddikim, (righteous people), were told and some important Halachic commentaries were provided. Shabbat and Weekly Synagogue timings were provided together with special announcements regarding people in the Community who had recently celebrated a special occasion such as an Engagement, Marriage, Barmitzvah, Batmitzvah or a Brit Milah.
Although the Parasha Sheets are no longer produced, the Synagogue continues to send out important communications relating to the Synagogue and all email subscribers receive them.
